Your duties as a Shopify and WordPress Developer at the company will include creating, designing, and managing our clients’ websites and applications. In order to make sure the solutions we develop are extremely functional, user-friendly, and in line with the particular needs of our clients, you will collaborate closely with our marketing and customer service teams.
Primary Accountabilities:
1. Using best practices for Shopify development, create unique websites and apps.
2. Work together with the sales team to comprehend client demands and develop solutions that address them.
3. Closely collaborate with the customer support team to offer technical assistance and handle client-facing issues.
4. Guarantee that websites and apps integrate with client systems without a hitch.
5. Maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in Shopify development , wordpress , business websites to enhance our workflows and outputs on a constant basis.
6. Investigate and fix problems with the websites and apps while making sure there is as little disruption to the client’s business activities as possible.
7. Give clients and internal team members documentation and instruction on how to use and access features on websites and apps.
8. Take part in project meetings and provide information on the status of development as well as any problems discovered.
Conditions:
1. A bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar discipline.
2. A minimum of three years of website and app development experience with Shopify.
3. Skilled in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and additional web development languages.
4. Thorough knowledge of the WordPress & Shopify ecosystem, including the Liquid template language.
5. Outstanding problem-solving abilities and proficiency in troubleshooting intricate issues.
6. Outstanding communication abilities, including the capacity to elucidate technical ideas to stakeholders who lack technical background.
7. The capacity to function well both individually and in a group.
8. Meticulous, with an emphasis on quality and providing our clients with the best options available.
Required Competencies:
1. Prior knowledge of other e-commerce systems, such as BigCommerce, Magento, or WooCommerce, is advantageous.
2. Knowledge of version control programs like Git.
3. Familiarity with best practices and UI/UX design principles, including Bootstrap and other CSS frameworks
